It is picked by hand or machines and usually has 3 growing periods. Early  season which is the first flush, middle season typically called the second flush and the end of the season teas. Teas that come from a single garden are called estate teas while blended teas come from a variety of different regions. Each of these types have their own distinct taste. Tea can also be flavoured with a variety of fruits, flowers, spices chocolates, nuts and so much more.Teas that do not come from the Camellia sinensis plant and do not contain any tea leaves are called tisanes. These include Rooibos, fruits, Yerba Mate and herbal blends.
